Stumbled across the following PDF available in the PD website which compares to one of the main competitions (Diskeeper).
I have used both and both work differently to achieve smilar results. As for the document itself, it is interesting.

I would still prefer an outside documented comparison between PD, DK and O&O but well this would do for now
