Turn user account control up to max , add zemana anti malware free to your on demand scanners. Ad https everywhere, privacy badger , adguard browser plugin to your browser. Change backup software to macrium reflect free or aomei backupper free.

• AdBlocker: I personally recommend Adguard AdBlocker- Adguard AdBlocker

You can use other On-Demand Scanners but i personally use Bitdefender

Hi.@Plebman123 BitDefender Antivirus Free Edition is not a On-Demand Scanners.
And he already use emsisoft anti-malware.It has BitDefender signature and Emsisoft own.

Uchiha Itachi since you have OS updates disabled i have 2 suggestions.
First you can set OS updates to Defer so you don't get Windows updates installed at once and give some trouble.
Second suggestion is to use WSUS offline to download the updates whenever you want.
This means you can first check which updates you can set aside because they will cause you trouble and which ones to install

First enable OS security updates.
Then implement some type of system backup solution.
Consider backing up important data to an external drive also.
Consider adding an additional on demand scanner(s).
Consider adding HTTPS Everywhere.Privacy badger & uBlock Origin to Chrome.

Add SandBoxie Free (and use it while browsing to have more protection).

Why not extensions? Add HTTPS Everywhere and uBlock Origin.
