Disable scanning compressed files for custom scan

Is there an option to disable scanning compressed files during custom scanning something [eg. a partition]

in settings, under virus scan, in file scan section you can check skip compressed files and then insert a number for as low as you wish for MB.

That can be done only for full scans, not custom scans as it says. Because the earlier check box for full scan must be enabled first.

you have a point, when you do a custom scan are there a lot of compressed files in that which you want to scan?
