I'm reading that web storage/DOM storage is a lot like cookies, but consumes much more space.
Extensions such as Click&Clean and Better Privacy can be used to clear web storage/DOM storage.
The three major browser families' members can be configured to disable web storage/DOM storage.
Does web storage/DOM storage have any truly serious security ramifications?
When I interact with LastPass Support, they always say be sure I'm not disabling cookies, and I know disabling cookies can mess with log-ins.
So, is there a downside to removing or disabling web storage/DOM storage, and if so how much?
