Hello,

They call me TwinHeadedEagle around here, and I'll be working with you.

Before we start please read and note the following:
  • At the top of your post, please click on the "Watch thread" button and make sure to check Watch this thread...and receive email notifications. This will send an email to you as soon as I reply to your topic, allowing me to solve your problem faster.
  • Please do not install any new software during the cleaning process other than the tools I provide for you. This can hinder the cleaning process. Please do not perform System Restore or any other restore.
  • Instructions I give to you are very simple and made for complete beginner to follow. That's why you need to read through my instructions carefully and completely before executing them.
  • Please do not run any tools other than the ones I ask you to, when I ask you to. Some of these tools can be very dangerous if used improperly. Also, if you use a tool that I have not requested you use, it can cause false positives, thereby delaying the complete cleaning of your machine.
  • All tools we use here are completely clean and do not contain any malware. If your antivirus detects them as malicious, please disable your antivirus and then continue.
  • If during the process you run across anything that is not in my instructions, please stop and ask. If any tool is running too much time (few hours), please stop and inform me.
  • I visit forum several times at day, making sure to respond to everyone's topic as fast as possible. But bear in mind that I have private life like everyone and I cannot be here 24/7. So please be patient with me. Also, some infections require less, and some more time to be removed completely, so bear this in mind and be patient.
  • Please stay with me until the end of all steps and procedures and I declare your system clean. Just because there is a lack of symptoms does not indicate a clean machine. If you solved your problem yourself, set aside two minutes to let me know.
  • Please attach all report using
    fjqb1h.png
button below. Doing this, you make it easier for me to analyze and fix your problem.

  • Do not ask for help for your business PC. Companies are making revenue via computers, so it is good thing to pay someone to repair it.
  • If I don't hear from you within 3 days from this initial or any subsequent post, then this thread will be closed.

Hello TwinHeadedEagle, i have followed your instructions step by step. I had uninstalled search protection and rebooted. I installed the chrome extension and here is the link -
I had downloaded the attached file you posted and started the fix with FRST. I left it on and went afk came back a few hours later and it was still not finished. So i decided i would close it and come here to reply to you about the problem but after i clicked the x button on the FRST, a few seconds later it asked me to restart, so i did. I then downloaded Adwcleaner, ran as administrator, scanned, cleaned, and rebooted, after the reboot it created a report text without me needing to click report. Im attaching everything that you've instructed me to attach and i hope i did everything correct. I wasn't too sure which adwcleaner text it was so i sent you both. Thank you for working with me.

My pc is running a lot smoother now that ive followed your instructions. The random ad popups and dllhost.exe overload are now gone. Thank you. When i checked on the dllhost i noticed it was gone but scvhost.exe is behaving the same way using a lot of memory and cpu usage. I was wondering if that is also malware or am i being paranoid. Also every once in a while if im playing a game smooth or just casually on google chrome, i get these like error popups which i have uploaded. Was wondering if you know whats the deal with them.

I reset my chrome settings but they still appear. As for the svchost.exe problem i've read that the file location should be in system32 but the extreme memory and cpu usage of every svchost.exe *32 is in a temp folder. Would you know how i may go about removing them.

Sometimes i leave my computer idle without browsers even open and it still happens. I found this folder under C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp\SessionWin32k and inside there are a lot of folders with numbers ranging from like 6-9000 and inside all of them is one svchost application each. Should i delete these? Are these virus'

I reran the FRST fix, and rebooted. The popups still happen and the fake svchosts are still flooding my task manager. I did notice that all the svchosts are either in system32 or that fake sessionwin32k folder that i mentioned before except i found one svchost.exe was located C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup ---- hope it helps.
