I can count on one hand how many lifetime license software there is nowadays

I have a few lifetime licences, Mbam x 2 - AdGuard several, Wise365 x 3 - MiniTool Partition Wizard - Shadow Defender - I use freeware when I can but for me some software is worth buying - From a business point of view a lifetime licence cuts of any further revenue from that user, almost like pyramid selling? I feel lifetime licences will lessen in the future - And there is no guarantee a lifetime licence will be honoured
