I know I have to keep my software up to date, but what about drivers?
Do I need a tool to update drivers?
And what is the best tool?

Not a specified one, I ask in general (graphics drivers excluded).Which drivers do you need to update?
winget upgrade --all --include-unknown --accept-package-agreements --accept-source-agreements
This is great, is it safe?Since a short while I started using this command …
I saw that another member posted this, and it checks and updates everything it finds.
How would you compare this to IOBit Driver Booster? *If you'd have any experience with it.I do. I have been using Avanquest's Driver Genius Platinum for years and am very satisfied. My windows systems have never had stability or blue screen issues.
Good to know this info, thanks for sharing. It is, I have not seen or noticed anything strange I started using it. It is a windows command.
The only you should know is that if you have a piece of software that is a GoTD, then you might lose it. Those GoTD programs useally do not come with free upgrades, so using that command can make the licence for that GoTD program invalid.

Not a problem. I actually bought a license for Driver Genius and I actually like the program. It found 3 more driver updates than driver booster. So far so good. I'm quite happy.I'm sorry but I have no experience with Iobit Driver Booster. I know that many people use it and like it but I can't give you my personal opinion on this software
Thanks for the information. The most significant concern that I can see with an automatic driver/software update program is the potential for supply chain malware infection, where the original driver or software repository gets infected with a malicious update, and this gets propagated up the chain to the driver/software program
