I'm interested in finding out who here uses Panda Security... I don't often see people recommending them or using them, so I want to know why from other people's point of view.

I think the vendor could do much better with their silly using the MyStart page and offering better customer support but personally I would never ever use them.

I don't think I have seen not even one person recommend on the internet in the past 2 years, or maybe even never in my life.

What are your thoughts about them?

Did a small history checkup and now I can guess when things started to go downhill IMO ( in my opinion ). 2007 Panda Software changed it's name to Panda Security as it been sold to the investment group Investindustrial and to the private equity firm Gala Capital. The board of directors had a as they thought a brilliant brainfart somewhere on the line after 2007 and allowed an idea of making more money faster by including genuine crap in there products. No wonder one of there CEO's resigned and one got sacked for probably not rolling over.

When other vendors flag you as malicious it's a repugnant disgrace, IMO.

In 2017, Panda was the only AV, which managed to keep 100% in all real world tests, that is not bad, not bad at all. Considering that is cloud AV only, it is not that surprising, but it is not so reliable for the same reason. While waiting for the response, it can kill the internet, especially WiFi, even when you set it to 10 secs.

I've been using their internet security for about two years. Didn't get any problem. It was very effective and easy to use, at least on my side. Very light on the system too :) Their subscription, with unlimited devices is quite interesting(y)
@Opcode I would give it a try.

I used this to test, but some time ago, I remember to scan a folder with some samples, it took a long time, always dependent on the cloud, the only one I liked was the lightness, the system stays fast without any slowdown, I think that was the only thing I liked about it.

I have used Panda Internet Security 2016 for one year with Zemana Anti-Malware (Realtime + Pandora Cloud). Very light...No infections. But I'm not a "Happy-Porn-Clicker" or "Torrent/Keygen-Downloader"...so I dont know how it would protect me against bad and nasty malware. Scan Time was long...very long :-(
