Not really. Software updates happen frequently enough that any reputation database is always obsolete and there's many safe files out there that get blocked.
I see this all the time in enterprise and government environments that fully utilize Microsoft Security. Most often the safe file blocks are caused by ASR rules - but occasionally other protections.
Really, if having to respond to alerts is an issue, then Comodo can work, but it requires a specific configuration. Even with that configuration, you can expect occasionally that safe files will be sandboxed. Will that result in breakages or other issues? Perhaps. Perhaps not. Way back in the day I never manually whitelisted the safe files. I just allowed them to continue to be sandboxed, and eventually Comodo would whitelist them and they would not be sandboxed anymore. Most people cannot handle doing that.
