Hi There,

I have been using Windows 10 and Linux Mint LTS (USB Stick) mainly for browsing.
On Windows I use:
Emsisoft Anti Malware ver. 11.9
Heimdal Free
Super AntiSpyware Free ver. 6.0
Malwarebytes Anti Malware Free ver. 2016.07.08
I will be trying Zemana Anti Malware, Hitman Pro, Kaspersky TDSSKiller, RKill, AdwCleaner...

I would consider removing SAS in favor of some of the other on demand scanners you mentioned you would like to try.

Heimdal Free doesn't offer any protection, only software patching, so I'm not sure it could be considered real-time or otherwise protection. Agreed with Ex on SAS. Please consider enabling OS file reputation, as it's a critical security component of W10. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Heimdal Free just provides patching. I have been considering a full version. Anyone has opinion on that? A promo code, anyone ?
To remove SAS? It used to be a bit more effective than Malwarebytes in the past. Could you elaborate a bit, please?
I have never tried Zemana before, any usable review?

SuperAntiSpyware used to be pretty good, but it's since become irrelevant when it comes to fending off modern malware. I can't speak to the effectiveness of Heimdal Pro, but I can provide you with a link to a 50% off coupon (not 100% sure if it's still valid, but it says unlimited). I can absolutely, however, speak to the effectiveness of Zemana. It has a free edition, it's cloud-based, runs relatively light, and has a very-high rate of detection. Since you use Emsisoft Anti-Malware, I don't recommend that you use the premium version. Just use as an on-demand.

SuperAntiSpyware is not necessary. You'll be fine without it because you already have a much better on-demand scanner in MBAM.

Remove SuperAntiSpyware, install ZAM: Zemana AntiMalware Premium - Block online threats before the infections take place.

Install SandBoxie to guarantee more protection, also wile navigating: Sandboxie - Download Sandboxie

You have too extensions on your browsers, remove unnecessary extensions.

And enable OS File Reputation.

Likely add an adblocker for Chrome, then password manager (optional).

Smartscreen is checking the file's reputation against MS list. EAM can complement it. i personally let Smartscren On, it cost nothing to have it.

Thank you, I have read through your updates. You made me decide to wait and not fo for the Heimdal Pro at the moment.
BTW, how do you like your current configuration?
It seems to be:
Windows Defender
Windows Firewall
ReHIPS - sandboxing and HIPS program.
HMP.A - an anti-exploit program with risk reduction features.
ZAM Premium - a Real-time protection with Pandora technology.
AppGuard - a system-wide isolation and containment.
CryptoPrevent - although redundant, should provide static protection when all other 3rd party security softwares are disabled

Have you tried the HitmanRange of products for Sophos?
