It's ok, but the reason why your school, employer etc. use it is because it has options for centralized management. For home users, there are home versions of it providing the same protection. Also, i heard that they have released a free version. Enough for that. I would recommend you to keep UAC enabled and dim the display at least for apps, it provides a great deal of security. Using a password manager is recommended these days, you know, logging is easier and more secure. I recommend you to take a look at LogMeOnce password manager, it has a free mobile application and two factor authentication. I prefer it to LastPass. Malwarebytes AntiExploit is very lightweight (just 3 MBs RAM) and will make sure that dangerous exploits and fileless malware are blocked. Avira Browser Safety is a very good addition to your web protection, you may try it. No need for Sophos Virus removal tool when you have Sophos installed. Zemana AM, Kaspersky TDSS Killer and MBAM are awesome.
