Hi everyone ..

ive installed EIS again ;) .. and the Ram usage is way higher than before .. i dont notice bigger slowdowns, or an overall drag while using EIS, its just a little bit confusing. the last time i used EIS, EAM itself, the a2service alone, used at "tops" in idle around 200 - 250 mb, now its using around 500 mb .. if it doesnt slow down my PC its not that kind of a big deal .. just wondered if somebody else experienced similar usage or maybe something is wrong with my setup .. i dont know

I am running EIS on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and don't experience any slowdowns and have not experienced the usage that you describe.

Many security products, especially anti-viruses, take up a lot of memory while updating, indexing, (re)buiding internal databases, etc, more so immediately following (re)install.

and EAM uses lot of RAM for that to makes it faster, you can reduce EAM RAM usage by unchecking some options and set you Realtime to "scan when modified or created"

true but nothing is perfect in this world, btw EAM high ram usage is mostly during the first seconds after boot or updates validation, then after in idle mode the Ram usage is very low.
(at least on my system)
