Emsisoft Anti-Malware & Emsisoft Internet Security 11.6.0.6267 released. This is a maintenance release for improved compatibility, usability, speed, detection and stability.

This update will require an application restart.

• Improved: Emsisoft Security Center startup speed.
• Improved: Restore process of false positives after a Quarantine Re-scan.
• Improved: Stability of import hosts file in Surf Protection.
• Improved: A2CMD now processes “/?” and “/help” even if no valid key installed.
• Improved: A2CMD now processes “/k” and “/u” combination in one commandline.
• Improved: A2CMD /? wording.
• Improved: Malware removal on reboot.
• Fixed: Surfprotection now doesn’t show alert in Game mode.
• Fixed: A silent scheduled scan now doesn’t open Emsisoft Security Center.
• Fixed: Occasional crash “TEmsiEdit.SetBounds”.
• Fixed: Update percentage indicator in the tray icon hint.

@Inkurax - you might find some reports on the open Emsisoft support forum, but most of the times the reports are internal or might be found in the beta test tracker.

Plus, Emsisoft tests their products internally and will create fixes without any user reports of issues.

I am trying new version out with crystal security on the side , whatever emsisoft does not catch i know crystal will.

The first one is obvious. Everyone experiences slow opening of the GUI.
I think I also encountered posts about it in the WIlders.
After the update, it is lightning fast (again).

I already made a post about this on my wall, but I did want to go ahead and post here as well. After the 3/31/16 update, I have noticed an improved startup speed, an improvement in real-time protection performance, and especially an improvement in the performance of the GUI.

I believe GUI startup performance is due to a2start.exe being always running now.
Thanks to the post in the Wilders informing about this!

• Improved: Registry access handling.
• Improved: Crypto malware detection.
• Improved: Autoruns detection.

This will be nice in next stable.
