Presently using EAM with no issues, but up for renewal. . Main concern is Internet Banking protection. ( Bill pay, CC accounts, Bank Statements, etc.). Reading about the upgraded GDATA 2018 suite and it's bankguard always on technology.
Have tried the program and find it is light and seems fine. I know EAM has excellent PUP protection but can't find a reference to that for GDATA. BUT: main concern is Banking Protection. Any thoughts?

Banking protection is a fancy marketing feature. If an AV does its job, you don't need it.
What is the goal of banking protection? Prevent your credentials/datas to be leaked/logged by a 3rd party while you acces them, right?
So if your AV can block keyloggers/RAT to execute, why would you need a banking protection?
As if you need a secured space while malware are jumping around outside it...

People have to know that if the commercial site you are connecting to is compromised, you can throw thousand of banking protection you want on your machine, your datas will still be collected by the attacker. You have control only on your machine; outside it, you are powerless.

Thanks - I have seen your mention of this before. Makes total sense. I use a dedicated laptop for financials. Browse conservatively, no trial downloads or key gen etc.
Just was impressed with GData as I had seen minimal comment on them.
