    Staff Notes

    This setup configuration is not recommended for most users.
    We don't recommend that you copy this setup for your system unless you understand the security implications. We cannot not be held responsible for problems that may occur to your device by using this security setup.

    This setup configuration doesn't have a backup plan. We strongly recommend to add a backup solution for your data so that you can restore it in the case of an emergency.
    Backing up allows the recovery of data that has been lost due of a malware attack (eg. ransomware) or a hard disk crash. In such events you might lose family photos, your music collection, documents, or financial data. Backups are fast and simple to perform so it should be done on a regular basis.

    @erenchu :
    • I would not use Preview builds of Windows 10, but stable official releases.
    • As for "Disk Imaging Backup", You may add Macrium Reflect Free or AOEMI Backupper, both are free and reliably.
    • Consider also to run manual backups of important data to external devices, and/or in cloud services.
    • As for "Virus and Malware Removal Tools", You may add: ZAM Free, EmsiSoft Emergengy Kit, HitMan Pro Free.
    • As for "Web Privacy", You may add also a VPN service.
    • A PassWord Manager would be welcome also.
    Please kindly reflect Your changes editing Your config, and announcing them here, hanks for sharing :giggle:

    My advice:
    - Please use a backup solution such as Macrium Reflect, Aomei Backupper or Ease ToDo Backup Free
    - Add ZAM Free 3.0
    - Disk image backup (see first point)

    Thanks for sharing, some work definitely need to be done in the backup department. Doesn't matter what you do, backup is always essential to any type of security config. 3/4 layers are protected.

    Thank you for your answers. I will try to improve my config.:)
    No problem, I do hope you make the correct and informed decisions regarding your security setup. Remember, sometimes more doesn't mean better.
