Hello,
Yesterday, thanks to MalwareTips community, I have solved an issue with Emsisoft Internet Security using Revo Pro: A major problem prevents the application startup
When I used Revo Pro I noticed that it cannot made a restoration point.
So I go to take a look and noticed that there is an error.

I tried to apply the following fix but without success: Problème restauration système - erreur 0x81000203 Windows 7/8
Can you help me ?

Can you help me ?

What I found :

GoodLuck

Google translator :

We will launch two services to enable the restoration started.

You're going to press winlogo + R > you type services.msc then you confirm with Ok

In the list that appears before you, you look for the following services:

Instant snapshot volumes and Microsoft Software Shadow Copy Provider

you double- clicks on each of these services and startup type before you choose Automatic. Then you click on the Start button . Let your restoration starts immediately , or you restarted your computer so that services come into force then you throw your food . Give some news.

Thanks all for your help:)

Thanks @DardiM for your help in French;)
NB: I do not want to restore my system but there is no point of restauration created and I think that it is a dangerous problem.
I have started the 2 services but I get the same error message and when I reboot my PC the 2 services are again stoped.

You have probably a program installed that deactivate restoration point, like on my PC (I prefer make it myself)

You certainly installed a prog that disabled the save / restoration processes. Have you noticed when this problem began ?
Hum, I noticed yesterday after installing Revo uninstaller Pro but also yesterday I installed the same software on an other PC and I did not noticed the same problem ?
The hardrive doesn't appear on the panel of "system protection"

My advice to you is to uninstall emsisoft before you do anything, go to emsisoft site and down load emsiclean tool, uninstall emsisoft, reboot system three times, also make sure that the only security that is left is windows defender, backup any software that you need, then go to windows recovery and proceed to reset the pc to it's original state ( if you have a flash drive download the latest windows 10 iso put it on the flash drive) so that you can either upgrade to see if it killed the problem or do a fresh installation. I think that is the best way to go.

I had similar problem with VSS ( Shadow copy) when i had W 7 or 8.1 installed. I can't remember which one.
For the system to be possible to do a restore point there must be 3 services enabled not 2.
After searching for quiet a while i found an article that showed the solution.
I had to enable the 3 services and then problem was solved.
Sorry but i don't have this article saved:(
Restore point creator, you can try it but i don't think it will solve your problem.
One last thing, the 3rd service that needs to be enabled doesn't have a similar name Shadow copy or restore point.

Hello @Terry Ganzi
Thanks for your proposal. This PC is my work PC so it's very problematic for me to reset it:confused:
I hope to find another solution before going to the reset option.
