It is an "Anti-Ransomware" feature under HIPS settings, just like Advanced Memory Scanner or Exploit protection.

Actually, there is the ESS v10, I'm already using it on my language. It seems that Eset made a mess and that's a little bit confusing so far.

After few restarts and full scan it's very light, however, the UI is horrible when it comes to smoothness. It has laggy animations. I believe you have to have pretty strong computer to get UI working 100% smoothly.

From how I perceive it, I believe the new EIS is meant to replace ESS considering the price points on their website. ESS keys won't work with ESSP, as it has a larger feature set and is more expensive. I can confirm ESS keys work fine with EIS though.

I also would like to add I noticed a Protected Service feature in HIPS. Apparently it's tied to the Self Defense feature.
