So that pretty covers the ransomware protection for ESET IS

Why don't they just have a check box to enable ALL the above like for other vendors?

eset anti-ransware option is not enough.
setting of hips is very inconvenient for the general public.
I think it's better to work like Kaspersky or Norton.

There are some ways to configure Eset to Protect you against ransomware:
-Set HIPS to Interactive Mode(Pro Users Only)
-Enable Advanced Heuristics(DNA) /Smart Signatures
