Heads up for those who used it:
ESET Password Manager is discontinuing | ESET End of Life

ESET Password Manager is discontinuing

ESET will discontinue Password Manager. The End of Sales date is October 21, 2025. After this date, customers cannot purchase a new subscription with Password Manager.

The End of Life date for Password Manager is October 18, 2027. After this date, Password Manager will stop working and all data will be deleted. Customers will not be able to log in to their accounts and access their data in Password Manager. The app will no longer be available on mobile apps and extensions stores.

Customers who activated their yearly subscription before the end-of-sales date (October 21, 2025) will be eligible to activate and use Password Manager until the end of their current subscription period.

Customers who activate their subscription after the End of Sale date will not have access to Password Manager. This feature will not be visible in any ESET product or ESET HOME.

For annual subscription customers scheduled for their first renewal before the End of Life date, Password Manager will remain available until the end of their current subscription period, plus an additional 14-day grace period.

For annual subscription customers scheduled for their first renewal after the End of Life date, Password Manager will remain available until the End of Life date, October 18, 2027.

For monthly auto-renewal customers, access to Password Manager will be available until December 5, 2025—that’s one month after the End of Sale date, plus an extra 14 days. If customers cancel their renewal, they can use it until the end of their billing period, plus 14 days.

Any sales operations the customer makes on their subscription (such as upgrades or extensions) will make Password Manager no longer available.

IMO, it was a sub par PM in general, so I'm okay with them discontinuing it (I have a Eset Premium subscription and didn't use it). But for those who liked using it, Bitwarden or ProtonPass free versions are much better options. Even Bitdefender knew they needed to improve their PM from the rebranded SaferPass they were using (base PM for BD and Eset, and Panda?) to SecurePass.

Even though you had to manually enable it and set it up, it still was part of purchasing Premium and on up. I'm sure everyone will see a discount with their subscription when they renew with this feature being discontinued...yeah, right ;) :)

Though I never would've missed it if I decided to continue running ESET Premium, the password manager was one of few things justifying different tiered subscriptions. I appreciate how they never resorted to pushing a bloated suite, but I have to wonder how their scheme could improve from here.

If your worried about price just use Bitwarden free manager.
Eset Password Manager will continue to work until October 18, 2027, after i pay, but I'm still not sure what to choose, what are your opinions?
Sticky Password - 79.95 € liftime/29.95/year
Bitwarden - 10 usd/year
Proton Pass - €35.88/year
1Password - 35,88 usd/year

I've used Bitwarden and Proton and like Proton a bit more, however I use other Proton products as well.

Interesting that Proton Pass has almost same yearly price as 1Password. 1Password exist much longer on the market and imho has much larger user base...
Many users will find the free version of Proton Pass sufficient since it doesn't lack much for features. I only upgraded to Plus because I locked in a major discount, and I was sold on the extra benefits for other Proton services I use.
