It is very good in my humble opinion:
Take a look:

Thanks for videos!

yes if you follow this: http://malwaretips.com/threads/how-to-set-cis-eam-for-max-compatibility-security.4594/

just replace CIS section by ESET one; but i highly suggest you to use Emsisoft alone first to get used to it

between 85-90+% but you have to know that detection rate is not important, EAM has the best Behavior Blocker on the market.
Thanks!

Tough decision. I have both. In my old laptop, runs better ESET. I prefer ESET interface... but EAM protection it's impressive. Both are good products.

I watched review of EAM 8.1 & realized it's not the one great BB or a best AV in the world as it's fanboy's talk about :D ESET is lighter & many users complains that EAM+online armor slows down their startup or boot time also it's a bit heavy compare to ESET. here many peeps tested malware pack & ESET on-demand scanner preforms better then EAM. ESET url filtering & real time protection is strong plus it's mostly owns PUP then others AV suite. Can't say how it's BB works but i'm sure it's not as good as EAM BB but it's better to protect users. Also ESET uses single engine & EAM uses dual engine. If ESET owns dual engine then it will detect malware more & will perform a bit better.

1st dont just watch reviews, try the product. ESET has an HIPS and a badly done one (some modes ate totally useless) not a BB.

I ran for long time both EAM + OAP and ESS, both are extremely efficient, Emsisoft is stronger in term of protection but ESET is far lighter .

If i have to pay for a security solution , both will be in the top of my list

I only try products which i feel to try after watch reviews from various author. I want to keep my PC light & ESET is lighter them EAM. In on-demanding test ESET did better then EAM here in this forum . Second, I use panda url filter, K9 ( tweak ) & avast browser safety plus adblock. Don't need any url filtering from AV suite but ESET owns good url filtering. Real time protection is good for both AV. now remains zero day protection , yes i talking about BB. Maybe EAM wins but ESET also gives good protection & i use CFW proactive settings (autosandbox : blocked )+ESS ,UAC (max), smartscreen..so don't need EAM, already have EEK. Also ESET uses it's own engine & EAM uses dual engine. any AV suite can gets a bit stronger if it's uses bitdefender or other AV engines like qihoo etc ;)

Imo Both programs are equally good in their own respective spectrum bottom line: While one might have a lead in detection the other might have a lead in removal but the end result will be pretty much the same = Good overall protection.

Emsisoft have recently uninstalled it, not for good but I tried ESET instead thinking that is lighter.
I had lots of internet issues disconnecting a few times a day. I uninstalled it and internet is working fine so far.
I might run without the W8.1 with just defender/malwarebyte and superantispyware
