It is essentially the same in the UK, where aside from people like the more extreme right wing Tories, Labour and Conservative politicians could often appear to be representing the other party. People like Mandelson, Labour party string puller, in hoc with the same Russian oligarchs as Osbourne, Conservative champion of austerity. But too few seem to see beyond the surface, so we get more and more of the same after each election.
