Microsoft SmartScreen, integrated with Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, and the Windows operating system, has helped protect users from socially engineered attacks such as phishing and malware downloads since its initial release in Internet Explorer 7. With URL reputation checks and Application Reputation protection, SmartScreen has protected users from billions of web-based attacks in the last 8 years. I think this is a great news, a move in the right direction that will help many users!
Apparently win 7 and 8 will get it soon too.

Did someone already test it?
Is it effective as HMP Alert and Malwarebytes anti exploit?
Is it compatibile with them?

This is the SmartScreen inside IE and Edge, not Windows SmartScreen that blocks files from running :)

Smartscreen is definitely a leader when it comes on comprehensive landscape of threats, especially drive by attacks are yet common but deadly where many programs didn't focus much.

AFAIK level of Smartscreen and WD are at the same level so its a critical situation when one of them bypass as equals to total missed.
