At the beginning of the test, Norton blocks very little file. We have to wait 15min for Norton blocks all the files. Norton has cleaned the machine

Manzai, thank you for an encouraging test for many whom might not have considered Norton. Well done.
..and I particularly enjoyed the Angry Bird with the hammer!

Norton it's very good, but it depends to much on cloud and this is a "-", because if your internet is down, you're a "sitting duck" for viruses.Another problem for Norton it would be this: if any user didn't encounter "services.exe" it will let it pass.
I know it's the security era when signatures are "outdated" and you need 0-day protection, but to choose cloud it's very risky, that's why i prefer HIPS/BB and Sandbox.
Norton and his users need a plan B in case of Internet crashing.
