Get f.lux beta for Windows

Download Beta Link [https://justgetflux.com/flux-setup4.exe]

What's new:
  • Bedtime mode: warmer light before bed gets you ready for sleep, and works with all kinds of schedules
  • Disable by app (so you don't forget Photoshop)
  • Backwards alarm clock: reminder not to stay up late
  • Presets to help adjust your settings
  • Color filters for eye strain and other uses
  • A wider range of color settings
  • New hotkeys to adjust color (alt+shift+PgUp and alt+shift+PgDn)
Changes:
  • Reduced impact on game framerates
  • Resolution independent interface, for high DPI displays
  • DisplayLink monitors (connected by USB) work in a lot more cases now
Smart Lighting:
  • Hue integration now supports more light types
  • LAN API with support for telling other devices when f.lux changes
There are more things almost ready, but we have to get this right first.

Post-installation page: Thank you for installing f.lux

I thought the development has stopped. It's good that it has not. :)
This new version is leaps forward than their current release. Apart from the improvements to the UI. It uses the location sensor of Windows 10, if enabled, it will set the sunset/rise automatically - can be changed. Toast notifications to tell you when you will be waking up, so you don't spend too long on the PC. Fine tune the filtering and other customisation options.

Try the beta or wait for the stable announcement.

I have it installed a few hours ago. :)

Yeah, I like the new features. :)

Even though Windows 10 by itself will contain BlueLight Filter, f.lux by itself is indeed a good tool for eye straining protection.

The default blend of color is capable already for strenuous task. ;)

I just gave this a run, it all looks a bit weird at the start but I will see if I can get used to it. ;)

Yes you may feel uncomfortable from the first place but I assure that your eyes want that color blend the next time. ;)

I'm using f.lux it since a few months.
On my android phone, I'm using Twilight.
At first, those software seems strange, but when I'm disabling twilight at night, now, it hurts me.
On F.Lux, I like the shortcuts ALT-PGUP / ALT-PGDWN ! super fast.
