Hi Fellas,

I am happy to be here, still the newest newbie in this forum.
Just two days back i got rescued from the Malware hijack- grips- Many thanks to 'TwinHeadedEagle' for his assistance and guidelines--haven't forgotten you bro.

Please i would be grateful for any assistance setting up a good and defensive security configuration as i am yet to know which is ok and more secure. i browse a lot and do some research work with my system .
Thanks in anticipation

Thanks Artaz and Razor fro your suggestions
As a novice; 1. Making a choice between these is a big problem e.g 360 Internet Security and 360 Total security,
2.I already have the Malwarebyte -Anti Malware installed two days ago through Malware tips Guidance, so do i need Anti exploites?.
Still need more clarifcations on them
Many thanks for your advice

for the 360 if its free go for the one that does the most and as for Anti exploits i think its a must have as explained on the website its a shield for popular browsers and applications, preventing exploits from compromising vulnerable code.:D

Thanks Artaz,
Although its good to go for free stuffs,at some point in time:), would you also recommend the best premium AV against all odds?, i think you also have a good Sec.config

Have you upgraded to SP1? I would say Privazer is for the more experienced user how ever CCleaner is an excellent choice.Just remember when cleaning the registry to use the back up option that is offered b efore you run the registry cleaner. There are some good free options aavailable for AV.Avast & Windows firewall is a good combo. You could also instal Sandboxie free.I would add extensions HTTPS Everywhere,WOT and ABD+ in Firefox & HTTPS Everywhere,WOT & ublock in Chrome Thanks for sharing your config :)

Kaspersky 2015 people have told me is good but i haven't tried yet ,same goes with trend micro antivirus+ that

Kaspersky Internet Security is very light (my opinion), I've run in Windows Xp sp1 with only 2 GB of ram and windows start up enough fast (KIS 2013) :)

I run a full scan using KIS 2013 once a month or only if there is a suspicious on my computer. but still mild in my opinion, is only sharing brother. I just wanted to share my experience using KIS. :) :) :)
