April 21, 2012 The FBI is warning Americans that hundreds of thousands computers may unknowingly be infected with the DNSChanger virus, caused by a massive Internet fraud scheme. Web users could lose their ability to connect to the Internet in July. The FBI is recommending that computer owners run a simple diagnosis to determine if their machine is affected, and if so the malware can be removed before the July 9 deadline.
