http://malwaretips.com/blogs/your-computer-has-been-blocked-virus/
... with failed results:
Method 1: failed because blue screen of death on reboot to safe mode with networking, which may or may not be related to malware infection.
Method 2: failed because no known Windows restore point (and also blue screen of death).
Method 3: failed because blue screen of death on reboot to command prompt.
Method 4: created Hitman Pro USB stick, booted to that successfully, ran a scan, found and fixed all kinds of crap, but... nothing which obviously appeared to be this virus. Most of what it found looked innocuous, but fixed it, anyway, just in case what it was happened to be masquerading as something harmless-looking. Rebooted without bypassing with Hitman Pro, virus was still present. Rebooted with Hitman Pro, ran another scan; results were clean. Rebooted, virus was still present. Rebooted with Hitman Pro, attempted to get around Hitman Pro so I could install Malware Bytes and maybe let that find and fix it, but was pwned by Hitman Pro... Am pretty much at a hard wall, here.
Can't do any scans or post any logs because nothing is accessible. Can run Hitman Pro all day, but finds nothing. Can try advanced mode, and probably will after this, but... that's about it.
Thanks for looking into this!

If you can send instructions that do not require a burned CD-, That would be better. If not, I will have to go buy some.

PLEASE HELP

Hello,

They call me TwinHeadedEagle around here, and I'll be working with you.

Before we start please read and note the following:
  • At the top of your post, please click on the "Watch thread" button and make sure to check Watch this thread...and receive email notifications. This will send an email to you as soon as I reply to your topic, allowing me to solve your problem faster.
  • Please do not install any new software during the cleaning process other than the tools I provide for you. This can hinder the cleaning process. Please do not perform System Restore or any other restore.
  • Instructions I give to you are very simple and made for complete beginner to follow. That's why you need to read through my instructions carefully and completely before executing them.
  • Please do not run any tools other than the ones I ask you to, when I ask you to. Some of these tools can be very dangerous if used improperly. Also, if you use a tool that I have not requested you use, it can cause false positives, thereby delaying the complete cleaning of your machine.
  • All tools we use here are completely clean and do not contain any malware. If your antivirus detects them as malicious, please disable your antivirus and then continue.
  • If during the process you run across anything that is not in my instructions, please stop and ask. If any tool is running too much time (few hours), please stop and inform me.
  • I visit forum several times at day, making sure to respond to everyone's topic as fast as possible. But bear in mind that I have private life like everyone and I cannot be here 24/7. So please be patient with me. Also, some infections require less, and some more time to be removed completely, so bear this in mind and be patient.
  • Please stay with me until the end of all steps and procedures and I declare your system clean. Just because there is a lack of symptoms does not indicate a clean machine. If you solved your problem yourself, set aside two minutes to let me know.
  • Please attach all report using
    fjqb1h.png
button below. Doing this, you make it easier for me to analyze and fix your problem.

  • If I don't hear from you within 3 days from this initial or any subsequent post, then this thread will be closed.

You will have to buy CD.

Please print these instruction out so that you know what you are doing
  • Download OTLPENet.exe to your desktop
  • Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to a flash drive.
  • Ensure that you have a blank CD in the drive
  • Double click OTLPENet.exe and this will then open imgburn to burn the file to CD
  • Reboot your system using the boot CD you just created.
Note : If you do not know how to set your computer to boot from CD follow the steps here
  • Wait for the CD to detect your hardware and load the operating system
  • Your system should now display a Reatogo desktop
Note : as you are running from CD it is not exactly speedy
  • Insert the USB with FRST
  • Locate the flash drive with FRST and double click
  • The tool will start to run.
  • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) on the flash drive. Please copy and paste it to your reply.

Very good, we're one step closer to fix your problem.

One of your system files is infected and we will need to replace it. But first we need to find adequate replacement.

Once again we shall use FRST for additional checks. Re-run FRST/FRST64 on the same way:
  • Type User32.dll into the Search: field in FRST then click the Search Files button.
  • FRST will search your computer for files and when finished it will produce a log Search.txt in the same directory the tool is run.
  • Please attach it to your reply.

Download attached fixlist.txt and save it to your USB flashdrive as fixlist.txt

>> Boot into Recovery Environment

Start FRST in a similar manner to when you ran a scan earlier, but this time when it opens ....
  • Press the Fix button once and wait.
  • FRST will process fixlist.txt
  • When finished, it will produce a log fixlog.txt on your USB flashdrive.

>> Exit out of Recovery Environment and post me the log please.

Try to boot Windows normally...
