Solved Firefox search box misssing in GUI

I don't no why, but I lost my Search Box" in Firefox directly under the Google logo. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling it, but it did not help. I tried Googling the problem, but could not find a solution.

Can anyone offer me a solution?

Oh its just the google search box, you still have it in the bar.
Try clearning Cookies and your Cache and see if it solves it.

If that doesn't work, give this a shot:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset/

Also, did you try plain old google.com without the .au?

Hi 3link9, I tried cleaning cookies and cache, that did not help.
Removing the "au" did not help.
I tried the link you posted, but I prefer my old screen (but at least I have a search box now) thanks


I still like to get my old screen back!

In Firefox do this and then check if the issue is fixed. I believe it has something to do with your add-ons.

Thanks MrXidus, that fixed the problem. The Greasemonkey add on caused the problen, so I disabled it.
