Solved Flash drive vs zip drive help for computer recovery, please

Hi. I'm having malware issues which have turned into hardware issues. Fortunately, my USB ports still work so I'm trying to recover as much as I can before I may have to erase my hard drive.

I'm ignorant on flash drives vs zip drives. I'm also on a budget.

What I want to do it get as many of my documents and pics, email etc. saved to an external place (zip/flash drive). My "C" and "D" drives are about ten gigs combined. (yes old system).

What are my options? I'd also like to use it for back up once I hopefully get my situation resolved. Thanks for any all help/advice! -fisher_girl (catch and release).

10 GB of data is not that much. You can just buy a flash drive with 16GB and save all your personal files on it. -

Alternatively, you can just go to your local supermarket, and buy one. They are not that expensive.

A ZIP drive is not a choice here, as it's capacity is very limited.

The Zip drive is a medium-capacity removable disk storage system that was introduced by Iomega in late 1994. Originally, Zip disks launched with capacities of 100 MB, but later versions increased this to first 250 MB and then 750 MB.

And the drag to the flash drive simply copies them and does not move them? Thanks for the video. This will be EXTREMELY helpful... especially how to exit from the drive!
