Pretty High Ram Usage

That's seems to be the main complaint I heard from users who've tried it. Also heard many complain about it being heavy and not particularly suitable for older, low resource systems.

Yea thats true.
They also need some improvement in behavioral blocker, thats why i recommended Comodo firewall so Comodo can send the undetected files that Forticlient missed in the sandbox.

Forticlient had updated a new version 5.2 of their antivirus, could you please test it again?
i feel it little lighter on my laptop and more stable.
