AVG Secure Search provides an additional security layer while searching and surfing to protect you from infected websites. It checks every page before you even click on a link to make sure your identity, your personal information and your PC are protected.

AVG Secure Search is totally useless in detecting malicious & phishing URLs. The safety ratings is does not work.

AVG link scanner works way much better and detects malicious & phishing URLs

Um, 2) Norton Identity Safe does not have (real time) URL scanner. URL's are not scanned. SafeWeb reports site rating based upon static site analysis. Site analysis is as only as valid as last time tested. Landing on a site. Norton does not scan site. Norton simply reports site rating based upon last time site was (back end) tested.
