Straightforward configuration just follow the suggestion, two on demand scanners will be fine to your system by conducting them weekly or depends to your preferences, the rest is much better placed at your USB and use it if there will a worst case scenario before doing a Backup and Restore feature.

You can add a password manager like LastPass which is free to secure your passwords when you are online.
