Honestly i get bored by his reviews...everytime the links are dead or lead to nothing...i just watch the detection rate.

Lately it's nothing but adware.

When I did video reviews, I made sure the 20 links I grabbed for testing were fresh, active and are actual threats that can do harm such as Trojans and Rootkits.

None the less I had plenty of free time to do that, Julian doesn't.

I would imagine GData has an PUP option in Settings to catch all that adware and junk.

Nothing MBAM can't solve tho.

I agree and I also liked the product reviews and computer enhancements.

I have to laugh everytime I watch his reviews, almost every review he's yawning like he's gonna fall out of his chair from boredom lol
He used to do better but this year it's very boring and like mentioned mostly adware.

I think if one was going to have a come back that would have to be Spybot, but now a days, probably not.

back in the days it was dominated by PCTOOLS, Webroot, Lavasoft and the Spybot.

Yet across the years, Webroot changed several times the products. Lavasoft basically went from good to bloated. Spybot is now on version 2 RC... which can be promising or a failure.

Evolution sometimes is not a good thing.

Actually even considering the things in Malware pack that are left behind by av scanners are not malware at all...I honestly have lost interest in his reviews...Its not even adware that are in his reviews..he is getting from bad to worse...and the people on his channel love nothing but just COMODO...You can try and take the name of other free AV's like AVira or avast on his channel and you will be spammed about these av's suck etc etc i have myself experienced this ...i have been putting thumbs down for most of his vids since he and his vids and the comments are growing into a huge fanboy group...

It looks like he is doing it purposely...He isnt so dum...that he cant classify between ccsetup.exe and y.exe

had both Gdata av and is for 2 years, my exp:
GDATA IS = 3(maybe 2.5)
GDATA AV = 5

like any other major names in this business they're IS comes with a very poorly designed Firewall.
but they're AV is actually light on performance considering its using dual-engine but memory usage is a bit high.
