First of all: if they want to fight terrorism they should stop inviting terrorists to their country. Period.

I get confused sometimes. Seems like business comes out the loser in public opinion when it interacts with government anywhere in the world and the government gets completely off the hook with the public view "well that's just government being government". Well, what do WE then expect? That government is just going to magically restrain itself? No, Gs take the public (and forum) outcries for the heads of business leaders as a blank check to do anything they feel like doing.

We got to find balance in our views of the proper interaction between government and business. This #^#$ has gone on for too *$(% long imo. We can have what we want if we'll just be reasonable about what government oversight should be. Gs don't need corps to help them in their fights (most of which exist because of the overbearing nature of government in the first place). They do need cooperation from and collaboration with business and from every day citizens like us to establish sensible lines of government monitoring.

Seriously, we can have sensiblity, security, and safety, but we have to quit being cynical and start being honest, forthright, and wise, no matter where we are in the world.

I support the ability of the intelligence agencies to issue orders for monitoring people based on detected suspicious signs. I am against the migrations without a visa for non EU citizens.

I'm right with you there. I don't see a problem when agencies seek out a judge for a monitoring order when it comes to clearly defined subjects that are likely to be implicated in criminal activity.

Right now they're throwing out the baby with the bath water by grabbing everything they can get there hands on without any reason or probable cause whatsoever. That can't be right.
