Troubleshoot Get Laptop to be able to use remote connect application when the screen is closed

Briefly explain your current issue(s)

The laptop screen goes off when I close the lid even when I set it not to do that.

Steps taken to resolve, but have been unsuccessful

Changed what closing lid does option in Windows 10 to nothing but doesn't work anymore. Use to work.

I tried everything and it seems to not work now

This is Windows 10.

I don't want to keep the laptop open.

Here's a workaround... Use Don't Sleep program
Changed the Don't Sleep the power saving options on the system?
