The gtx 1050 ti should work in the system, however, unless you already own that motherboard then it looks like a bad match for your needs. It will tie you to Coffee Lake chips and its designed for high end gaming. Its big feature is that it has 3x16PCIe slots with sli/crossfire in mind. Nobody does sli/crossfire anymore so its a waste of money. Go with the STRIX that you have mentioned (iirc ASUS ROG STRIX B560-E GAMING WIFI). The STRIX will take the newer (better) CPU's and has WIFI6 and a 2.5Gbps ethernet port but most importantly it officially supports faster memory which is where you will get your best graphics improvements if you use the integrated graphics of the 11900K. Having said that, almost any GPU you find at the dump will beat the iGPU performance of a maxed out 11900K. A 1030 with 2GB of old DDR4 will likely beat it. My niece had an i9-9900KS (the Coffee Lake flagship) running as an iGPU and adding a GTX 1030 to her system was a massive upgrade to her experience.
