i think it uses avira as its engine but i really wold not get this offer for these reasons
1- i can install avira antivirus free which is really an amazing av . why bother with anything else
zemana is a different thing and it has a different approach to malware

The advantage this thing has is that it allows you to use the Avira engine as a companion antivirus, which I doubt you could do with Avira itself. I got this program. It does have some potency for detection in my experience.

I'm on an old resource-starved system, and I found GMH to be too demanding on resources to run realtime. However it might work well for somebody with a newer system.

This software is good at detecting malware in the scans, but i found it very heavy on the processors (during the scans).
It could be for the fact that I use an almost 5-yr old laptop. But i have a pretty respectable config (RAM: 12 GB and chipset: i7).

Can anybody please let me know if they too have found it heavy?
