I wonder this counter never stops? lol how this even possible? it means that all people on the earth installing avira? wow...

I assume the AV calls back to an Avira server when it's installed/connected to the cloud to sign it and the counter works based on these stats.

it does nt depend on new version release,Avira 's rank on tests,etc.

I'm not talking about this. but how on the earth avira is installed frequently as the counter shows!!

I think it counts all installed Avira products, uninstalled ones are still counted...Avira has 100 M active users, avast has 219 M active, but Avira has almost 300 M downloads, probably avast has 400 M or 500 M of downloads..
