If you use an extension for smooth scrolling and you no longer able to scroll down disable smooth scrolling. It seems to be broken atm at least with my extension(crx mouse gesture).

This update includes 22 security fixes. Below, we highlight fixes that were contributed by external researchers. Please see the Chrome Security Page for more information.

We would also like to thank all security researchers that worked with us during the development cycle to prevent security bugs from ever reaching the stable channel.

As usual, our ongoing internal security work was responsible for a wide range of fixes:
  • [762099] Various fixes from internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives

Many of our security bugs are detected using AddressSanitizer, MemorySanitizer, UndefinedBehaviorSanitizer, Control Flow Integrity, libFuzzer, or AFL.

Interested in switching release channels? Find out how. If you find a new issue, please let us know by filing a bug. The community help forum is also a great place to reach out for help or learn about common issues.

Me too. I'm not using any extension for smooth scrolling. Now touchscreen scrolling is no longer smooth. I even disable the smooth scrolling chrome flag but to no avail

Expect a new release soon........

They sure broke something but not sure if by design or by accident. I also have issues with scrolling when i go top of the page with a mouse action. Had to rebind my mouse keys to do the keyboard buttons as a workaround. Think they disabled the method that was previous used for these tricks so manufacturers need to adapt.
