Google has begun restricting several Google Maps features for users who are not signed in to a Google account, reducing access to AI features, reviews, images, and detailed business information in what the company describes as a "limited view".

The change affects the web version of Google Maps and was first reported by 9to5Google, with similar behavior confirmed through independent testing.
