Hello,
I have the cltmng.exe , Webcake Desktop and I think... Win32.Downloader.gen (SearchProtect), and the iCrossRider in my system that I can't get rid of.

Cltmng and Webcake Desk top shows up in several scanners, and the other 2 shows up in spybot s&d. I have tried everything I could find information on to get rid of them and yes I get rid of them but as fast as I delete or quarantine them they reappear again. I have tried several different programs and most of them find the same files. No matter if I hit delete or Quarantine makes no difference, they come back as fast as I throw them out.

If I can't get them out my next step is a full system reinstall :(

Hi,

Please download zoek.zip or zoek.rar by smeenk (
Zoek_icon.png
) from here or here and save it to your Desktop.
Unpack the archive...
  • Close any open browsers
  • Temporarily disable your AntiVirus program. (If necessary)
    If you are unsure how to do this please read this or this Instruction.
  • Double click on zoek.exe to run the tool .
    Please wait while the tool does not start...
  • Copy the text present inside the code box below and paste it into the large window in the zoek tool:

    Code:
    createsrpoint;
    StandardSearch;
    emptyfolderscheck;
    installer-list;
    installedprogs;
    uninstall-list;
  • Click on
    Run%20Script%20by%20zoek.png
    button.
    Please wait until a logreport will open (this can be after reboot)
  • Save notepad to your Desktop and attach here zoek-results.log
    Note: It will also create a log in the C:\ directory named "zoek-results.log"

I have decided to go ahead and do a reinstall of win8. After I posted here last night I was experiencing serious issues resulting from trying to rid my system from the bugs and ended up deleting to many registry files that should not of been deleted. Had to restore the computer back a few days in order to come here and type this since alll browsers were damaged by it. The computer is getting worse and not better.

Anyway, I want to thank you for your help and next time I'll come here first before attempting to fix it myself and damaging my system. I just wished win8 was as easy to reinstall as winXP was. win8 is like a alien machine to me so I'll have to contact Dell support which I am dreading [their idiots]

Again, thank you for your help and I'm sorry I didn't come here sooner.

PS..Would you believe it if I told you at least 2 of the bug's came from Cnet.com?
It used to be a very reputable site, but I strongly warn against using it now. And yes I clicked decline to the bundled garbage they offer with their software but I still got infested with bugs. I can't remember which program it was that the bugs came with. maybe my CCleaner or spybot s&d. anyway it was one of them is where the bugs came from originally.
