Hi,
Gymnophiona (assuming) Hijacker on my Chrome
Breaks google search and redirects to bing
I see you helped another with exact same problem.
Chrome extension cannot be removed. Causing issues. Malware.
Win 11 Desktop PC, personal, retired

Following your instructions...
  • Installed mb5setup-50000.50000.exe
  • Ran first scan
  • It found and quarantined 2 items
  • Downloaded and ran FRST64.exe, files attached

If you can please print this topic it will make it easier for you to follow the instructions and complete all of the necessary steps in the order listed.

Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from.
The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted.

Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait.

The Computer will restart when the fix is completed.

It will create a log (Fixlog.txt) please post it to your reply.

How to: Delete/Restore quarantined files.
Restore quarantined files in Microsoft Defender Antivirus

Follow the directives on the page to delete all the files in the quarantine folder.

Restart the computer again when done.
