'H-Bomb' Asteroid To Skim Past Earth In 2013 : on news.sky.com : http://news.sky.com/home/technology/article/16189789

QUOTE:
'An asteroid with the destructive power of an H-bomb will narrowly miss Earth next year, scientists have said.
The 50m-long space rock will whizz past our planet on February 15, 2013, at a distance of just 15,000 miles. That's closer than the orbit of many commercial satellites.

Scientists say there is no chance that we will be hit by Asteroid 2012 DA14 but such a possibility cannot be ruled out in years to come.'

'If it did smash into Earth the force of the explosion would destroy an area the size of Greater London.

The asteroid was spotted last month by scientists in a Spanish observatory after they searched an area of the sky where asteroids are not normally seen.' ..

Hahaha, the world won't end in 2012, unless we all nuke each other.

Or... we all cyber-attack each other, since we all love using the Internet/Technology.

Yeah, apage satanas .. The similar prophecies are not at the top level of intelligence. Those who propagate them - look for the naive people .. or young age, who have not sufficiently developed brain. Fortunately for register on this forum should be at least 12 years it seems to me, then they will not find here the ideal opportunity for similar nonsense. Is not it, E.T.? Sorry for spelling ..

PS. That a thing I know: that afternoon there would be risk of rain in the area, I'm pretty sure ..;)

If world would end in 2012 December, no one would be mad about global warming.
Does anyone know if it will go past Earth by itself, or some NASA help?

Well no one can really predict what will happen even scientist could make a mistake on any predictions. Really environment and the time will just come.

Well people wants to go in heaven however they are afraid to die. I saw likely a testimonial in Facebook before.

I am strongly opposed to making people stunned, stupefy. All these prophecies of doom in 2012 because of imaginary asteroid, Nostradamus, Mayan calendars or other .. ET cosmic invasions .. global warming etc. are the replacements of real issues, which should occupy the smart people. I am always very cautious before the various 'global campaign' of this or that. We must keep our feet on the ground, no heads in the clouds. Yes, the truth is out there ..

.. and you see clearly, that in the precedent post I talk about "prophecies of doom in 2012 because of imaginary asteroid" - and not about ''An asteroid with the destructive power of an H-bomb will narrowly miss Earth next year, scientists have said. The 50m-long space rock will whizz past our planet on February 15, 2013' ..
Those are two different species: prophecie for 2012 and scientific description about 2013 asteroid, OK.?..;)
So there is no contradiction in my posts, thank you for note this.:D
