If you build an SDK for it, they will attach it to their computers and use it to do cool things: That's the name of the game for the various software hacks that allow one to use console accessories like Microsoft's Kinect or Nintendo's Wii Remote to control one's desktop system.

Well move over, Microsoft and Nintendo, for Sony's joined the game as well. And an enterprising developer has already built a means for controlling his desktop PC via gestures given by a Playstation Move controller—including opening up a Facebook page by drawing an "F" on his screen or closing windows by drawing a big ol' "X" right over them.

It was only a matter of time. It will be interesting to see what they can do with it.

The Kinect has already been proven to have more potential.
