Hello everyone. As you can see I've taken my name from a very common Windows command - the ever popular "close (insert program name here) program immediately." Over the early years of using this personna I have had quite a lot of fun with it, but no longer create havoc like I have in the distant past.

I've been doing computer for so long that I've probably forgotten more than I ever knew. I started out working on PC's when they were still considered to be an Office Computer only. Way back before "Plug-n-Pray" as we used to refer to it in the early years. Ahh the good old days of boot sector virus infections and DOS batch programming to run dos-based antivirus applications (McAfee comes to mind here.)

OK, that's it for now. This website seems to have a great deal of "GOOD" info on how to remove infections / malware / etc. using very reliable software which is freely available to all of us.

Hello AltF4. I'd actually pushed Alt/F4 with my first impression being your alternate name was "..close 2 tabs", lol!:P
Thank you for your fascinating introduction, McAffee rings a bell for me too, although I currently protect our 8.1 system as you with Avast! . ..happy to hear you rid yourself of whichever infection was plaguing you. I hope it is now only, and solely, a memory.
