Hi everyone. I just wanted to say hello.
I joined because I'm interested in learning how to secure my computer, and also my phone.
My wife and I just purchased a new computer in January, and I want to make it last for as long as possible. We don't game on it, so there's no reason we shouldn't be able to keep it for 10 years. Like a car, it just needs maintenance and attention.
That's where MalwareTips comes in. I'm not an IT guy. I know how to get my computer set up, and can sort of customize it, but the most important thing I'm lacking knowledge in is security.
I don't have any current issues, but I like reading and I'm interested in putting good ideas to work.
So, I'm off to read some forums. See you around!
