Hi, I'm here to inform myself further on adequate protection for myself. It seems like a never ending quest to find the right combination of security apps and feel 100% safe while keeping the computer usable.

Unfortunately, even if it may seem impossible, I'm starting to really get the feeling that a lot of the top "security apps" that are on top of search engines are actually the creators and spreaders of taylormade viruses & wurms in order to make us buy their software. Who to trust?

Wow, thanks for the nice welcome guys, it's always nice to see well behaved online communities. I'm learning a lot from reading the forums, and I really think that the biggest thing I get from all I read,, even with an army of security apps installed, your never 100% safe, BE SMART!

An intriguing theory, NatasataN (concerning your suspicions of apps, search engines, & planted malware) that we welcome here as we do it's author, you!:D
There exists a common goal we share in our singular, & continuous, search for the reassurances required in adopting 'trust'. Oftentimes we find that which adds to our security through update patches, for a time, can also sacrifice functionality in programs & apps. Therefore it is comforting to share this uncertain journey together while we welcome you aboard!;) :):)
