Hello,

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them.
Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.

    x5o4gh.png

  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Temperature Check
  • Please download Speccy to your Desktop.
  • Unpack archive and start Speccy64.
  • Wait a few seconds until it finishes checking and then make a screen shot of the Speccy window.
  • Upload the image in your next reply.

Its puzzling, because it just locked up again and I'm running a new scan now to see what it comes up with. Adwcleaner did just run and came up with nothing, and I cannot get to the bottom of what the root of the issue is here. I noticed just before you started helping me on that every time windows shuts down for a restart, I see a windows error message for a split sec, referencing an error with Windows Defender. I disabled it and no lock ups for two days, until just now.

Okay, scans done. And like with most of the lock ups or slow performance, this is what I typically see.

So here is what I've done. I've read previous cases with similar issues before. And I have started up my computer in safe mode, ran the scan and removed the threats. But they always return no matter which program I try this method with.

I included a screenshot of what I keep seeing, and to be honest I do not know the nature of these threats. Where they come from, what they are, or even if they are the cause of my issues. But I have been running the same setup for years, and I have never seen these "tracks" always popping up in scan until recently.

Spybot is outdated software and you shouldn't trust its output. I suggest to uninstall it and if you want to scan your PC for threats, I suggest something up to date like Zemana, MalwareBytes, Emsisoft etc.

I don't see anything wrong with your computer and malware isn't causing your issues.
