Windows 11 installation with software and Windows update, software installation (vpn, Java, SOS Scanner etc)
Creation of a snapshot

On a dedicated PC, I download various malware that I test in Sandbox to rule out any false positives. The same goes for the urls I select

Once everything's ready, I start my test.

Snapshot : You have a function on VMware Workstation (it's not on the free version of VMware Player)

In Windows 11 i use Vmware Workstation Pro. In macOS Sonoma Parallels Desktop.

I don't do much testing, but when I do I do it in VirtualBox. It's free and you can make snapshots to easily revert virtualized system to previous state.

I don't isolate it. I use VM for software testing only, no malware testing on my system and VMs.
