Hello all!
Now a days, the ransomwares (any kind) are common these days and even Most antivirus do not catch them. I found a nice post regarding the prevention the infection of ransomeware! here is the link : http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/cryptolocker-ransomware-information
Please note that, this setup also prevent most of the any infection (Virus, malware, etc). There could be implemented by two ways:
1. through SRP - if your OS support this features
2. through third party apps: CryptoPrevent Tool (https://www.foolishit.com/vb6-projects/cryptoprevent/), Simple Software-restriction policy (http://sourceforge.net/projects/softwarepolicy/files/)
I have setup mine with SRP now on windows 8 pro (x64), and with Simple Software-Restriction policy in past on windows 7 Home premium (x64)
